Weekly round-up
A surprise defeat for LuciusSulla (Roman) in his final match against sunnyboy (Arab City) means that Nosy_Rat (Breton) is the new champion of this section even though he still has 2 matches to play. sunnyboy can still get a share of third place with CheAhn (Sassanid) if he gets maximum points from his last 2 matches. At the bottom there were further defeats for Questar17 (Byzantine) and Nijis (Indian) although it is still mathematically possible for any 1 of 5 players to be relegated. The next two divisions are extremely close. In Division B 2 wins for batesmotel (German Horse Tribes) means that batesmotel needs 3 points from the last 2 matches to win automatic promotion. desertedfox (Parthian) could still take the top place if he wins his last match well and batesmotel only gets 1 point from those last 2 games. At the bottom lunecastle (Byzantine) is relegated. There are still 3 players in with a chance of automatic promotion in Division C. oscarius (Jewish Revolt) can get to 28 points, SLancaster (Roman) can get to 27 and Challenge1 (German Foot Tribes) can get to 26. At the bottom it is between Bluefin (Alan) and SawyerK (Byzantine) with both players having 2 matches left. No change in Division D this week and no change at the top of Division E where snooky51 (Parthian) still needs 14 points from his last 4 matches to finish top of the table. grumpydaddy845 (Dacian) is currently bottom but there are 4 other players who are not yet clear of the relegation battle. A very quiet week in Division F where 2 of the favourites to challenge the long time leader Conteshard (Byzantine), toska (Sassanid) and Darkwater247 (Gepid), agreed a 0-0 draw in their match to make the promotion race much tighter.

Macedonczyk (Andalusian) is the new champion of Early Middle Ages after posting 2 more wins this week to extend his winning sequence to 8 matches. Nosy_Rat (Spanish) will finish second and late reserve XLegione (Arab Conquest) third. At the bottom 1 of 4 players could still go down with Triarii (Dailami) looking the most vulnerable at the moment. In Division B kraff (Ghaznavid) lost his last match to sunnyboy (Polish) and is relegated, just 2 points behind IMC (Khorasanian) who also had a very difficult season. Just the relegation issue to sort out as well in Division C where Najanaja (Rajput) needs 5 points from his last 2 matches to relegate grumpydaddy845 (Dailami). No change at the bottom in Division D where both Kerait (Arab North Africa) and rs2excelsior (German) have 2 games left, including a match against each other, to catch Doyley50 (Viking) who is just 2 points ahead having finished his matches already. Blagrot (British) has moved to the top of Division E with his sixth win of the season, but DryNick is still favourite to win automatic promotion as he can reach 30 points, 1 more than Blagrot can achieve. Both players have yet to play Tratmot (Polish). A big shock in Division F where bottom-placed hscic (Viking) beat the previously unbeaten leader carpenkm (Norman). hscic now needs 3 points from 3 matches to avoid the wooden spoon and give it to wmpryor (Irish). At the top everything depends now on the outcome of the match between carpenkm and toska (German). toska must win this game 4-0 and also beat angel42052 (Dabuyid) 4-0 to snatch automatic promotion from carpenkm.

pompeytheflatulent completed a comfortable double victory against his closest challenger in Division A to become the new champion of The Biblical section. desertedfox picked up his first points of the season against nyczar and now needs to win both matches against hidde by 4-0 to avoid relegation and relegate hidde instead. In division B the relegation could be decided by the outcome of the 2 matches between Challenge1 and batesmotel, although if honours are shared in these games then batesmotel will probably need to get around 6 points from his 2 matches against paulmcneil to avoid the drop and relegate Challenge1. Divisions C and D finished some time ago now, while in Division E random27 took the automatic promotion place after deeter lost to Blagrot. Division F also finished last week.
