Hi Maximus,
I'm really not sure how this could happen but we'll try and track it down. What language did you install in?
After installing the game from CD and before installing any patches, what version number do you get appearing at the top left of the screen when it is loading?
When you install do you install to the default directory? If not where do you install it to? Do you install to an unusual drive? Obviously none of this shoudl cause roblems but it might help us to track down where things are going wrong.

I think the problem is most likely you installed Legion Arena via a "Limited User account". If this is the case, you need to remove Arena, etc. (Make sure you back up your saved games!!) and then re-install it via an Admin User account. Then install the patches, logout, the log back in with your standard account. Hopefully all should be well. If your not using a limited user account please post and let us know, so we can work out whats going on.

Hello,
The version number I have is V1.0100 :857, it is installed as a standard install and in English.
Now for something wierd, it does not show up on my "Add & Remove Program list", but its there I just completed it again.
I have Admin rights.
Thanks for the help, really want to play those mods.
Just removed the BLACKBEAN dir, to reinstall. Just before it starts to copy over files, it says some thing like, " One or more files could not be copied" and then contuines to install.

The reason the patch is not installing is because it's failing to show up on your add/remove program list. Why that is I'm not really sure! It's not a problem we've seen before. Is there anythign unusual about your setup or version of windows?
I can supply you the patch files in zip format instead if this does not sort itself out.
