Division E
Blagrot (British 600-1030 AD with Viking 780-899 AD allies) beat deeter (Norman 923-1040 AD ) 71% - 42%
The Norman lancers caused their share of trouble but as the weaker infantry units fell the strong ones were left isolated, thanks for the game.

Division E
rs2excelsior (Samnite 355-272 BC with Etruscan 330-280 BC allies) beat tmac11 (Seleucid 166-125 BC) 58-26
It was a tough fight for the Seleucids. The Samnite army deployed on a ridgeline, with the left flank advanced to stay on the high ground and the clear low ground to the Samnite right held by the Etruscan hoplites. The Seleucids drove off the Samnite skirmishers and assaulted the Samnite hilltop position. The hoplites held off the cataphracts on the right, holding them off until the very end, while on the Samnite left the Romanized Argyraspides were outflanked and routed. While the right end of the Samnite's ridgeline position was beginning to fracture under the pressure from elephants and veteran phalangites, reinforcements managed to break the elephants and the pike blocks elsewhere on the field collapsing under the assault of the Samnite infantry managed to tip the balance before the Seleucids could exploit their successes.
The battlefield at the end: Good game, it was a fun one! Looking forwards to seeing how our EMA match turns out.

angel42052 (Achaemenid Persian 419-329 BC) defeats telesien (Carthaginian (Hannibal in Italy) 216-203 BC with Campanian 280-203 BC allies) 60 - 40
A lively battle! Telesien was almost able to pull off a draw. Had the battle be just a few turns earlier, a draw would have been the result.
