Division A

Triarii - Bosporan 11 BC-375 AD with Roman 24-196 AD allies beats Questar17 - Byzantine 551-578 AD with Germanic Horse Tribes 260-492 AD allies 61-50

A swirling encounter and prolonged cavalry dual meant foot heavy Byzantines were eventually separated and out flanked by Bosporan cavalry but not before they destroyed the Bosporan foot. Thanks to Questar for a tense, close game.

Division E for Energetic

Barrold713 (Palmryan) defeats Blagrot (Arab City) 60-49

A slugfest with my expensive units prevailing against the numbers to grind out the win.
Good game

Division E

snooky51 (Dailami 928-1055 AD) defeats Morat (French 88-1049 AD w/ Viking 900-1049 AD allies) -- 41-11

Nothing went right for the French as Dailami impact foot routed many spearmen within two turns. By time the lancers were ready to start doing damage, it was too late.

Division D

I don't believe this has been posted yet...

Garokan (Thracian) defeats Bluefin (Macedonian) 54-29.

It was a good game, even though I was soundly beaten.

Division A

LuciusSulla (Roman) defeats nyczar (Scots-Irish) 43-11

Thanks for the game.
The high quality Roman legionnaires managed to inflict enough rout for a victory before the massively numerically advantaged Scots troops to encircle the Roman with chariots or infiltrate the gaps between engaged troops with foots.

As I wrote in my congrats to Cunningcairn, this is even more impressive as we're talking mirror games so no advantages from selecting and getting superior army lists. And 4-0 in all 8 games at that! :) Yet more impressive.

Well done, pompey, and congrats! Now I can (finally) throw away any shame I felt when losing 42-0 to you in TYME I (Romans versus Romans, so basically one "mirror" game there too; just showing a vast difference in skills). The downside to your success is that I may have to restrict your participation in the tournaments that I arrange, at least if I don't want the Burgundians to ahistorically conquer the Roman world in the fifth century AD. ;)
