[US campaign] 50 State Tour (24/02/21)

I'm not bored with Panzer Corps yet, probably never will. I'm still creating some stuff on and off when time allows.
I had some holiday and i began making a few scenarios for the US side of the game.
This is hopefully the beginning of a 50 scenario fictional campaign against the Axis powers.
Each scenario is a US State, starting with the smallest one by total area, Rhode Island.
The equipment file is a bit of a challenge, the US equipment part is totally focused on the entry of the US landings in North Africa. That makes it difficult to start a campaign from September 1939, so i had to be a little creative.
There is an equipment file present with the download and that will allow you at least to buy infantry class units from the start. There is only one tank, one artillery and one fighter unit available, for quite some time.
In every mission, and especially to those who love to clear the map, there are structures which award land or air units upon their destruction. Some of these "captured" units will prove invaluable. Upon request, i can post a list which units can be captured in each mission.
I should also mention that there is no in-between scenario prestige. Gain prestige by capturing flags, force surrender enemy units, disband units at the deployment phase and by capturing "prestige" structures during the mission.

Hello Niki!
I am sooo happy to see you around here! Thanks for not leaving the PzCorps "classic" forum, and a big "welcome" to the new campaign!

I took the liberty to update you equipment upgrade file... The last version I had stored vas v39, so this would be the "unofficial" (at least untill you approve it) v40. I just introduced the backdated availability dates to US units, and also introduced a change in one of the infantry type unit designation.

Also, for the ones wanting to introduce "backdated" US units to the eqp file, here are two icons: The M2A4 light tank, and a P-36C fighter.

Thanks everyone for the encouragements.
Soon there will be an update with two more scenarios (Vermont and Massachusetts).
The first five missions should be fairly easy.

Just unzip the file in the PzC/mods folder

The downloadlink can be found in the first post of this thread.
Unzip in the Panzer Corps/mods folder and overwrite.

Yes your mod is not bad at all it's a pity that it has original vanilla units

Saves are compatible with each update.

If that wouldn't be the case, i would first need to create the entire campaign and then only start scenario testing.
Now i can create a few scenarios, add them to the campaign and test, then repeat the process.

Hi Nico, I've started the game and tested the first scenarios. Interesting historical forethinking…

Some suggestions:

Germany comes with Slovakia ... mmhh ... why not coming with Italy?

The US boys fight with a small force. In it there is a Rolls Royce armored car.
We could change this vehicle with a M3A1 Scout Car (production starts 1939),
a conversation of the unit from Soviet Corps (because it's not in the US rooster).
I build it today for you, if you like it:

For the right functionality the equipment and efx file must also be updated
(copy the values from the soviet version and set the available date on 1.1.1939).

Thanks for the armored car. I'm sure it is handy for those who wish to play with a personal equipment file.

First couple of scenarios are against Slovakia, then Finland and then only Italy.
It comes somehow with an increase of difficulty.

i have also tested the first two scenarios and it is pleasant. i like the time the player have to explore and find some "hidden secrets" . I play with 50% prestige and 50% xp and i have already plenty of prestige in 2 missions ( more than 2000 ) . I imagine that i will need this prestige later
