Campaigns

Post by Horst »

Is it (already) possible to take a look at the original campaign (maps) or create own campaigns?
I only managed to move single scenarios over to the user folder to check these out with the editor. Original maps and especially campaigns are best to learn mapping (and find occasional bugs).

Creating campaigns requires a bit of old school txt editing at the moment. You can copy one of the original campaigns to the <my documents>\my games\order of battle - pacific\Campaigns folder.

Open the .cmp file with a text editor and mess around with the content. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out. A proper in-game campaign editor is on the "wishlist" for the future.

Okay, so every campaign uses the same maps from the scenario folder. Good to know, thanks! Let's see what I can mess up there...
