AI never buys aircraft?

I have never seen AI buying an aircraft.

Is there some true/false or buying tendency switch?

Test:
Having a GC map with 255 allied core units and millions of prestige. AI just buys loads of tanks, but no single aircraft.

Yeah, what is even weirder is they will not even buy aircraft if they are left with nowhere else to buy except an airfield. I have seen this happen when all they have left is a main objective that I wait to take but have not taken the last airfield. It is quite strange.

In recent wargames like Panzercorps 2 or OoBWWII, the AI can not buy new units and that may be better like that than doing anything. The solution to compensate for the fact that the AI cannot buy new units is to make new units appear with a script.
