I see that this troop type can be deployed as either HF or MF - same AP cost - and the troop notes describe how they were re-equipped for fighting in terrain.

In a competition - can they be deployed as you choose, similar to the re-equipped Alexandrian Macedonian foot companions?

Or do you have to make a choice and stick to it?

Wonder why we didn't give them the option as per the Alexandrians?

Oportunity perhaps for somebody to look at the sources and pop something in the player designed lists section.
