Division E
Blagrot (Spanish (Sertorius) 80-70 BC) beat Tratmot (Achaemenid Persian 480-416 BC with Greek 680-461 BC allies) 61%-37%
The inital spanish wave was halted by well placed hoplite reserves and some stubborn immortals but the arrows hadn't really hurt enough on the way in and while both sides right flanks met with only weak resistance the spanish right flank had some cavalry that delighted in rear charges on persians. Thanks for the game

Macedonczyk (Andalusian 756 -1049) defeated Nosy_Rat (Spanish 900-1049 AD with Andalusian 756-1049 AD allies) 57:24
It was a battle who would destroy the right wing of the enemy first. I had easier because there were hills on my right side and the battles here were mainly about horses which were easier to retreat, purse longer and routed horses generate less percent of loss than infantry. The real result of the battle was that we both lost our right wings completely and only in the middle there were small battles of tired units.

oscarius - Spanish (Sertorius) 80-70 BC beat Najanaja - Carthaginian (Hannibal in Italy) 216-203 BC 44 - 18
With both armies in a deadlock of similar troop types and quality me managing to slip a sole unit behind Najanaja's lines proved decisive. Thanks for the game

Division C
Aetius39 (Andalusian) defeats grumpydaddy845 (Dailami) 45-6
At first it was a cavalry battle the Andalusians, with the help from their lights softening up the opponent's cavalry, were slowly winning. That came to a bit of a standstill but when the lines met the Andalusians won the day. GG and thanks for playing!

Nosy_Rat's 30 match winning run in Early Middle Ages has ended!
With this result, Nosy_Rat's incredible winning sequence of 30 matches has come to an end. His last defeat in Early Middle Ages Division A before this one was in the very first match of Season 6 . . .

Aetius39 (Bosporan) defeats Ironclad (Roman) 41-11
Early game was very slow but steady moving of both armies into position. Then the lines hit, and it was which army would break first. The Romans saw success with their cavalry, sending many of the Bosporan counterparts fleeing, but a few units in the Roman middle broke, and that allowed the Bosporan line to flank several other units, causing a breakdown of the whole line. On saying that, several Bosporan units were on fragmented, other units had some good luck; it was a lot closer than the score shows. Ironclad played really well. GG to my opponent!
