In a nail-biting finish, Warg1 managed to narrowly overcome Barrold713 in 2 matches to beat Aetius39 to the automatic promotion place by just one point. Well played Warg1.

Thanks Pete...nail biting was a pretty accurate description. I had one chariot that began the turn disrupted and surrounded by the enemy which managed to only slip to Fragged but could have put me over the 60 and a draw at best. Barrold713 and I were like a pair of punch drunk boxers and I would have hit the floor a few seconds after him. Aetius39 got his revenge in our LA game. sarmation is withdrawing from the tournament for personal reasons. I am satisfied that this is unavoidable and he will receive an invitation to play in Season 10.
