Cilician Armenian

Post by RobKhan »

Hi All,

What are the best type of figures for Cilician Armenians fro the 13th century. From my research the knights would be similar the Crusader/western knights, but the infantry is a puzzle for me.

My goal is to make Cil/Armenians as allies for my Ilkhanids and vice versa. They seem to be pretty versatile BG's to have to ally with a lot of armies.

So gents can you recommend figures for the Foot components, and am I wrong about the knights?

Thanks in advance

In their 15mm Crusader range Essex has armored & unarmored infantry spearmen , and archers. The armored infantry appear to be quite western:

My site has a page for this army, with a listing of possible figures, including those companies offering "Cilician Armenian" labelled ranges
