oscarius - Jewish Revolt 66-135 AD beats Challenge1 - Germanic Foot Tribes 260-599 AD with Roman 379-424 AD allies: 44 - 19
My superior firepower kept at bay a foe who, understandably given this very dangerous list, was unwilling to fully commit his line. Unfortunately this allowed me to swarm my full forces upon his and defeat him piecemeal. An entertaining match, thanks.

Blagrot (Indian 500 BC-319 AD) beat Rob123 (Persian 545-481 BC) 48-13
The shooting duel was very much in the indians favour and once the two disrupted elephants rallied, the melee was never going to go much better. Thanks for the game.

Division E
Captainwaltersavage (Visigoths with Byzantine allies) defeated Kerait (Romans with Arab allies) 44:17
The Romans had a fabulous defensive position on a steep hill behind a deep stream with a rough area on their left and a forested area with patches of open on their right. So the Visigoths obviously attacked. With the Romans being static I was able to move around their left and right flanks with light troops on their right and my cavalry storm on their left. TO pin them in place I moved my warbands into the deep stream to get ZOC on the legions. It then became a race between my cavalry trying to get into their rear and the gradual destruction of my warbands. by Legions uphill and aided by archery. I broke all the rules moving heavy units into the rough to fight mediums. The mounted archery and the swarm of lancers managed to wriggle through the defences and eventually rescue my beleaguered warbands who seem reduced to throwing clods of earth at the fully armoured opposition. It was only through the size of the units that they managed to survive. A very nice challenge and one in which the poor warbands were just good enough to hold on. Credit must go to my lone unit of Irregulars who managed to start the collapse of the Roman left - led by a General and supported by heavy units they were the key to success.
A great game, thanks to Kerait, who knew the risk they were taking.

Good game, the Thracians used the terrain well and a stream bisecting the map which slowed down and disordered the Gallic warband almost was the difference.
