Game Problems since the latest Patch

Hi everyone,

i have a lot of Problems since the latest Patches and i hope we can fix it.

I play Carthage, so i can tell only as Carthage

1.) Elephants, my Tanks...
Since latest Patch she don´t fight, normaly i have 3-4 Units in every Army. Perfect as Stormtrooper or Tanks, but actually she stay
in the Army and don´t fight. I have removed the most of my Units, so in a Desert Battle we have 16 Places in the Battleline. In an actual Battle i have 6 Infantry in the Line and 6 Horses, the Rest is open. The Phants stay in the second Line and watch.

2.) Damaged Units in a Battle
As Example, i have 16 Infantry in a Army, we have a Battle. In the first Line i find my best Troops, as Veteran or Elite Status, but after any Battle she have often enough only one Strenght Point. And so i lost a lot of my best Units. I have this Problem in nearly all
my Battles.
- We need a Rotation System a complet Unit, full Strenght in the Front, the damaged behind.

3.) Remove !!! The Hunting for Ressource from the Decision.
This kill my complety Business. And for Carthage is Trade ad Money the only Way to survive.
As Example: I have the Island of Melita, a Region of Sicily. Here i can find Coral. One of my MainRessource of Wealth.
The thalassian Temple need it, you become him extremly fast and often.
One Coral is around 4 (or 5 or 6) Gold...per Trade....as Carthage i need every Coast Region i can become.
And normaly Melita has a Range for around 40 Coastalregions! 40 x 6 = 240 Gold!! And then becoms Melita the Tradebonus....like Tradeport, Harbor etc. Also 6 x 150% (as Example) = 40 x 9 = 360 Gold!

The Problem here, if you play Search for Ressource, you become a high Chance to find an other Place with Corals.
For Carthage it is impossible to establish two or more Tradepoints for Coral.
Also please, remove it.

4.) Trade Acumen, it don´t work.
As Example: I have Coral in Melita, Rome has one in Brundisium.
I have a Trade Acumen of 10, Rome has 3. Why buy my own Regions in Brundisium?
I have this Problem in all of my Games. It is impossible for my to build Tradeports.

5.)Trade Range is to far
If i come in Civ.Level 3 i have a Trade Range of 10. That is to much, in this Moment my sec. Capital Malaka (Hispania Province) is worthless, all Ressource comes now from Carthage, i´m going bankrupt and cannot deliver Regions in Hispania, she are out Range from Carthage.

Can you remove this, please?

6.) Seablockade don´t work
As Example: I sell Coral from Melita with Trade Acumen 12, Rome from Brundisium with 3.
Rome has a Cooperation with Massilia, i don´t.
Rome has a War with Epirus, i make a Trade Cooperation with Massilia
Rome becomes a Seablockade from Epirus at Brundisium.... Massilia needs Coral...logical i find a new Tradepartner. But no,
Massilia don´t go away.
Epirus sent an Army, conquer Brundisium and Massilia? Buy from Epirus! That make no Sense for me
The only Thing is...i have 150% or more Tradebonus, Rome not.

Can you fix this please.

Thats my first Problems

7.) No Names for Army´s
In any Games i cannot give special Names for my Army´s. I think other User have this Problem to.

8.) Trade Bonus doesnt work.
As Example: I have Coral in Melita. The normaly Worth is 6. With Tradeport, Bridge etc. i come to around 150%. Also it´s worth is now 9. My Trading Partner is Rhodus, but i see in his Tradelist, he pay´s only 6.
Can you fixed this please? Because this Tradingincome is my sharpest Sword, and i loose it.
With this Strategy in the older Patches, i can sent a State in the bankrupty. Now it is impossible.

I can answer 6) because I asked it, too.
Sea blockades have never stopped trade. The reasoning was that at that time sea blockades were not very effective as fleets didn't spend the night on sea for example.
The blockade does stop naval units (of course) and the region looses a support bonus it would have without the blockade (I think it was food).
So the sea blockade is not useless but it doesn't help you in a trade war.

Having said all that I think it might be an idea that a blockading fleet would get part of the trade that goes through the harbour. Reflecting the cases when they do catch an unfortunate trading vessel.

For (2), there is rotation, but it is not deterministic, you have higher chance to be pushed to the front if you are in good health, and inversely a wounded unit has some decent chances to be rotated out, if there are fresher units. But that's not a certainty, imagine in the heath of battle the chaos ...

For (4), there are weights to the system, you own region have a coefficient of 3, the other only 1, and then trade acumen is factored. So again, not deterministic, a neighbor can catch your trades!
