For the first Time Control check players are asked to complete one match in each section they have entered in the tournament. Players who have entered the Themed Event are exempt from this check as those matches take priority. There are also a couple of players who notified me that they would be away in the first few weeks of the season so they will get a pass too.

The second Time Control check is 2 weeks later on Sunday 8th November where players are required to have completed 3 matches in each section they have entered.

Just a reminder to please notify your opponent if you are going to be away when you are in the middle of a match. Players who are absent from a game for more than 7 days without notification run the risk of their opponent claiming the match once the first Time Control check has passed.

Persians vs Indians is probably one of the most brutal match ups in FOG2 and can cause sleepless nights for a long time after the arrows fall

ConstantinIX - Palmyran 258-273 AD defeats Cunningcairn - Roman 379-424 AD with Armenian 253-476 AD allies 66-50

A very tight and balanced match : We were at 50 % / 50 %.I have to use a "dirty" trick with a gambit with an massed archer against a legio to force it to turn which gave me two consecutive flanking attacks against it and a neighbouring unit. With a late rally of my C-C (Legio never dies ! ), it gave the final result.

I made hard work of this mismatch of a battle. The persian are by far the superior force and bomber23 did well to get the 23 points with them. It was 23 points more than I got in the reverse match!

TomoeGozen (Egyptian) defeats Tresantes (Cypriot) 60 - 45.

After the initial sensible clashes along the line with both sides' right wings gaining some success it just turned in to a crazy random mess... There were units all over the place and in the end it came down to who could get their pursuing units back from the corners of the earth and back in to the fight first. Fortunately for me the Egyptians were faster Thanks to Tresantes for a great game that was really close at the end.
