Kradschutzen Close Defense

Aren't they supposed to be like infantry and trigger close defense? I have seen youtube videos where people claim to use them in cities like infantry, but it does not work for me (and the unit stat also shows no close defense like infantry).

It may be a bug, in my '.8' equipment file they have the 'CloseFighter' trait.
But in the latest '.10' file they don't.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.
