This Game drains alot of Power - why is that?

Hello,

I run the Game on WIN10/64Bit - i7 6700K - RTX 2070 8GB - 16GB RAM - 2560x1440. System has two Monitors but only one renders the game.

When I track the Game with GPU-Z while playing the power consumption of my graphic card goes always straight to 200W.

This is max - not even Red Dead Redemption 2 takes always so much Power.

Yes, the Game runs on max settings but thats seems even too much.

Can you please optimize this - thats very strange.
Would like to play the game but its not a good feeling to hear your fans going through the roof by a game like that.

I noticed the same thing but only on ultra. The game runs flawlessly without many hiccups (just longer loading times), but the processor heats up like an oven (on overall similar specs). Toning settings down one level solved this entirely.

Maximun and High - both take about 200Watt from the GPU - on Medium it goes down to 150Watt. Low drains 90W - to compare: Tropico 6 takes around 90-130W on Ultra Settings.

The 3D Mapview on max outzoomed scale is just a sinkhole.
