Gates of Troy Windows 10 help

Ok, so I recently purchased both the old gems, Spartan and Gates of Troy, for digital download for Windows 10 (I am running Boot Camp on a Mac Air to run Windows 10). Spartan worked immediately without a hitch. However, Gates of Troy has been giving me trouble. Initially after installation, nothing would happen when I clicked Play on the GoT menu. Then I did some research and found out about the .dll file which I moved into GoT folder alongside the Troy.exe. Now when I hit Play or just open the .exe file I get the opening Thermopylae cinematic but once the cinematic ends the game just closes without an error message. I never see the game's main menu. Has this happened for anyone else? Is there a known fix for this? Thanks in advance.
