For some time I have not seen that the Hellenistic armies had Thureuphoroi units after being exported to FOG2.
Is it on purpose or a error?

There used to be several units in the Hellenistic basic roster that translated to thureophoroi in FOG2. Now there is only one. The internal name of it is REGULAR_INFANTRY1 but I don't know what they are called in the Empires game UI.

Suffice it to say that if you don't recruit any of them, you won't get any thureophoroi in FOG2.

they are called citizen hoplites ( improved ) you get them after you make the millitary upgrades for the medium infantry.
