The talon as it stands is a very under performing ship that fills no roles, when it was nerfed because of the lack of bottom firepower in the colonial fleet the nerf was fair, at the time. Now the talon is a ship out dived by those far larger than it and not even having ventral firepower of its own, so what I suggest is give it a 2nd fighter slot and hiking the price to 750fp-850fp (800 is probably the most ideal) and filling this specialized light carrier role.
