Real time strategy for the Nintendo DS

If I am not mistaken, the ONLY title to try this is a game called Command and Destroy (was obviously trying to be Command and Conquer).

Sadly the title is a let down. The makers dropped the ball. It's like a half finished game.

This area is wide open for exploitation (hint hint hint).

Time period, heck I could see any time period being doable. Just so long as it doesn't look like a repeat of the game I mentioned above.

I agree, there are a few RTS games for the DS, but not one seems to be of good quality. A good RTS game for the DS would have a huge audience
