Are the mod files in the link listed in the earlier post the final ones? If so , where do they need to go to be useable?
many thanks,

May need to make some minor change. Will post the mod version to use in the first post of the actual tournament thread.TomoeGozen wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 6:00 pm Are the mod files in the link listed in the earlier post the final ones? If so , where do they need to go to be useable?

Re: DiSp: Dividing the Spoils - Recruiting to Tournament!
Not at all, not at all, Dave.
Instructions
Extract/unzip the 7z file above and then you'll get a folder called DIVIDING_SPOILS along with files therein. Copy that folder and its files and paste into your C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\FieldOfGlory2\CAMPAIGNS\ folder. (If you don't have such a CAMPAIGNS folder, simply create it.) If you then want to accustom yourself with the army lists in SP mode, go to Battles, Custom Battle, and then press Select another module. Choose Dividing the Spoils and press Launch. Then you'll have all the satrapy army lists in there, along with potential allies. Enjoy, because soon the tournament starts...!

Re: DiSp: Dividing the Spoils - Recruiting to Tournament!
Thanks everyone! Which leaves me with the eastern most satrapies. So this is the tentative map that we will kick off in shortly (unless three players in addition to Captain sign up ASAP):

(The key difference to TYME - The Year of Many Emperors is that in DiSp - Dividing the Spoils there are now coalition opportunities but no foreign invasions, that only one satrapy from each player is at stake in battles, and that each satrapy has one predefined map terrain type. Plus that a killed C-in-C doesn't cause elimination from tournament (looking at you, TomoeGozen...
). Apart from that, and the satrapy army lists of course, it's much the same.)
Now... I've finalised the rules; they're in the third post of this thread. Please have a look, and since English is not my mother tongue, my style of writing is quite awkward and not the most straightforward and to the point , so please let me know whether they're understandable. And whether they make sense. Before we start off!

In the rules post I think it should say 'losses caused' rather than 'incurred losses'. To me 'incurred losses' means the losses you have suffered yourself. Unless that's what you had in mind. I may have misunderstood though.

Is this the actual version we will be using?kronenblatt wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 8:06 pmNot at all, not at all, Dave.So here it is (just needed to remove the Gallic army list, since no longer used):

Presumably it will need to be in the MULTIPLAYER folder to use for the campaign.
When it is finalised I could put it up on the FTP for in-game download.

Thanks: have changed to 'inflicted' because I meant exactly what you're after. Is that better?TomoeGozen wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 7:11 am In the rules post I think it should say 'losses caused' rather than 'incurred losses'. Yes, that's the final version. Thanks for putting it up on the FTP! Have also updated the rules with that information: please let me know if I should specify further how people download from the FTP?rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 7:13 amIs this the actual version we will be using?kronenblatt wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 8:06 pmNot at all, not at all, Dave.So here it is (just needed to remove the Gallic army list, since no longer used):

3) Click on "Download the Selected Campaign".
Repeat stages 2 and 3 for "Dividing the Spoils MP Custom Battles".
Then when you set up an SP or MP Custom Battle, click on the "Select Another Module" button, select "Dividing the Spoils" and click Launch.

Re: DiSp: Dividing the Spoils - Recruiting to Tournament!
Reviewing the coalition rules, wouldn't an ally need to have a province adjacent to the targeted one? Otherwise, you open the door to ridiculous situations where you can attack people on the other side of the map as an ally.
Perhaps, coalition partners could be called if they had provinces adjacent to the target or to the coalition partner calling them? This would reflect them being able to move through friendly territory to join a campaign.
