Anyone else think the trade/building system would work really well in a game about the Industrial Revolution?

Perhaps with differing levels of direct control over the process to represent different economic systems.

You would need to add an amount to each resource and transport limits on infrastructure at least.
There are 10 kind of hard problems in computer science, naming, cache invalidations and off-by-one errors.
