I've played very little of Rome, I usually play the smaller nations. Which would be better to play, the origional Rome or the DLC Rome?
Thanks for any opinions.

Original Rome is much easier than DLC Rome as the latter is missing some nice improvements and regions. Further your in a race against time in the DLC first to get more than 1/3 or Persias legacy and within 217 turn (-1) exceed Persias.
So if your good at playing the DLC is a better challenge, otherwise try out the Original Rome.
