Bru's Profile of Courage
Probably one of the best scenarios I've played. Lot's of action and great playability. Even get to rescue JFK. More people should try this scenario as it's great! Great work Bru !!!

Re: Bru's Profile of Courage
Heh, true story: When I first read your thread title, I thought you were doing a paean to my "courage" (more like "fortitude") in putting this stuff together! At times, in the frustrating times, I have needed extra helpings of fortitude, believe me. Your kind words are an extra helping, indeed. Thank you.

Actually? I think I have almost all of your excellent scenarios. I've been reading this excellent book: The Hooligans by P.T. Deutermann that takes place almost exactly per your scenario about the MTBs. Excellent read!

Re: Bru's Profile of Courage
I put a hold on this at my local library. It looks interesting and I see that it is one of a series on the U.S. Navy in WWII. Suspiciously very high ratings on all seven books.
I have a feeling that, when I have read The Hooligans, I am going to have an itch to open up Profile in Courage again.

He wrote a series of great books mainly focusing on the early war in the Pacific. But it's not a series revolving around one person. Always someone new.
I hope you enjoy it and it sure did bring me to Profile in Courage!

I am taking this opportunity to try Window 10's "new" Emoji Picker. It's supposed to work in most any application:robertahyuk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 11:55 am He wrote a series of great books mainly focusing on the early war in the Pacific. Well, I'll be darned. It does!
However, I notice that the ones offered in this forum have higher definition:
Rob, I am encouraged that, after reading that book which seems to be based on real events, you seem to have nothing major to criticize in Profile in Courage as to historical accuracy.

No, I have nothing to criticize about the game at all. Your game seems to be right on and I like finding and rescuing JFK, which isn't in the book.
Love the game!
