Fantasy General II invasion xbox

When trying to start a game either the campaign, onslaught or skirmish, I get to the "A" button to "play" and nothing happens. The game won't start playing. Help!

I have exactly the same problem but on ps4.

Figured it out, you have to hold the button down lol.
