Seville - Fun start that offers interesting mechanics already since the beginning - a timed sea crossing and usage of air transport. I also enjoyed the first introduction to the idea that capturing the entire map is not really an option in many cases and just focusing on objectives is way more worth it. Only issue is the Hidden Cache - it would be great if what was found in it was communicated in some way, since it took me a while to notice.
Antequerra - Again, conquering the entire map is not a good plan, focusing on objectives is. I only wish the Italian bombers were blocked for the scenario. It's tempting to circumvent the side objective this way.
Merida - Slow and steady wins the race. This scenario really drained my prestige for some reason - looks like it was mostly caused by enemy air raids. It also was the first one where I came to love 40 prestige Italian fighters and started to buy 2-3 moving forward each time, to take the biggest first hits instead of my own fighters. This really helped reduce own losses.
Toledo - The objectives are great, but the scenario is another prestige drain, this time caused by the Spanish allies in the city under siege. Despite reaching the city quickly, I ended up with a bit of a drain due to all the artillery shelling the defenders and making them replace losses constantly.
Early Madrid - The source of possibly the best commendation point investment in the campaign. The flat terrain is a welcome change of pace offering chances for quick progress, the counterattacks are a pain, but luckily easy to hold at choke points.
Corunna Road - It''s funny how the side objective is placed so remotely - it really requires creating a separate task force. However, it was a fun distraction and what's more the unique air transport was a nice touch.
Malaga - Took this path instead of Bilbao. Quite an easy one, but somehow the AI really struggled with proper attacks in the pass to La Capellania and required some intensive support. It seems that in such narrow corridors the allies start to choose high ground too often and this slows their progress down.
Brunete - That's a long road to the side objective targets, but thanks to some convenient hills it's easy to have the enemy bleed out in their attacks. I even captured the 1,1 hex with a sneak recon for some 50 extra prestige.
Zaragoza - Auto selected instead of Gijon due to path choice. Very similar to Toledo, but with possibly a bit less enemy artillery around the besieged Belchite, so the loss of prestige was not so bad this time.
Teruel - Main objective is a breeze, the side one is quite tricky and requires at least a few loads until an optimal path is chosen. The AI can act in unexpected ways, so it's a lot more complex than it looks even if you're sure you know the way.
Aragon Offensive - that's an interesting one due to the fact the attack has to be divided into three directions. As with Malaga, the AI had some issues with tight mountain passes, but overall I ended this one quite quickly - the Republicans are not as concentrated as usual, making it easier.
Ebro - I have Kursk flashblacks. The fighter waves do not end, the tank waves do not end, the artillery located in all the sports where it hurts the most. Got to love it how there are basically no hills on the west bank, but tons of them on the east one. Crossing the river an meeting the Republicans on the other side is the only viable option to try the bonus objectives. Losses will be great, but at the same time they would be even greater if I stayed on the west bank. It is also critical to take out units whenever possible - whatever heals will come back at the worst possible moment. Too bad the side objective seem to either be bugged or not worded as expected and I was not able to complte it despite in theory meeting the requirements. Luckily since it does not seem to make a difference in the one CP lost with the Madrid 39 award not being uniqe (or so I was told). Let's just say I would not want to replay this one from turn 1 just to get that extra point - that would be a bit too much for my taste.
Catalonia - perfect distraction and change of pace. Each DLC should have at least one bonus scenario like this to experiment with unique ideas. Very easy to pull off, but somehow refreshing after Ebro.
Madrid 39 - Surprisingly easy - the twist makes it so that with good planning casualties can be minimized. Finally, some more direct control over infantry also helps - I did not have to order replacements almost at all, since I was not happily rushing every artillery piece in sight as the AI does after an attack command.
