but I don't want to move that unit there

Post by Celeborn »

I almost never plot movement of my units unless they have to travel a fairly long distance and I think the journey will be uneventful, yet since the May(?) update I am now frequently seeing units "ghost plotted" to move to locations I don't want them to move to. This has in some cases resulted in units moving when I didn't want them to--very frustrating. I have consequently been reduced to checking each non-moving units and if I find a plotted move I have to plot to move it to its current location to eliminate the "ghost plot" Has anyone else run into this or am I just going insane? :-)

I've found that using the two-mouse button helps in avoiding wrong clicks.
You select the unit with the left button and select the location with the right button.
I have not seen this movement plot issue since pre 8.4.4.
