Field Marshall to begin a campaign? or is the FM predetermined by which Campaign you select? also any noticeable advantages?

You pick your 'Rank' at the start of the campaign.
FM has a huge prestige hit, it should only be used by experience players.
If you have to ask, don't do it.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.
