There is a very well researched and full of solid information site related to everything about Finland military in the WWII period:
www.jaegerplatoon.net
It´s worth going there for the ones interested in this subject. About infantry units, while reading the information present in that site, I learned the following interesting facts:
- Nearly all people in Finland fit for military service were able to use skies when the ground was covered in snow (a rather common situation in Finland

- The Jaeger units were elite infantry units, which were able to move on skis when the climatic conditions allowed the use of them, and they were also equipped with bicycles for movement in summer.
So, in this infantry unit pack of mine features the following units/switches amongst them:
- All units can be switched to ski equipped infantry for faster movemet on snow-covered terrain (except the heavy equipment carrying infantry specialists, like, bridge engineers, combat engineers, heavy machine gunners, etc...). This ability is present for regular (light) infantry, scout/snipers, and, of course, Jaeger infantry units.
- The Jaeger units (could they be considered an equivalent to elite SS units for the Germans?) have three switches: skies in winter, and bicycles in summer.
I hope that any of you find those units nice-looking and useful! Enjoy!
