Division E
DanZanzibar (Dailami 928-1055 AD with Armenian 885-1045 AD allies) defeats snooky51 (Ghaznavid 962-1187 AD) 61-57
Although this nearly ended once at 62-47 following my turn, there were rallies on both sides to continue the match. At another point I think I was down 50-54. This could have ended in a draw or a loss for me without question and as I needed 3 points to clinch the division I may have lost a year of my life from the anxiety! Great game snooky! Best of luck getting to 2nd place in the division!

Morat (Romans/Greeks) beat Brenmusik (Slave Revolt) 47-18.
Very little to do with my generalship. Romans just too much for the slaves to cope with. Thanks to Brenmusik for a good battle, played in a good spirit.

DanZanzibar has won Early Middle Ages Division E!
Another clean sweep for DanZanzibar, this time with his Dailami army in Early Middle Ages Division E. Well played again, DanZanzibar!

Division E
Aetius39 - Palmyran 258-273 AD with Arab 312-299 AD allies defeats Captainwaltersavage - Roman 24BC-196AD with Jewish 64 BC-6AD allies 48-10
The roman legions lined up against a cataphract and roman army in the middle, and while the cataphracts slowly ground away at the legions, the Palmyran left mounted managed to get behind lines for the finishing blow. It also didn't help the Romans that there was a forest on their left that I had archers and medium infantry in that made it difficult to cover his flank. Still, a valiant try by my opponent, GG!

Aetius39 - Macedonian 328-321 BC defeats snooky51 - Carthaginian, Hannibal in Italy, 216-203 BC with Samnite 355-272 BC allies 56-25
The Macedonians started out well, routing a lot of the Carthaginian light foot, but foolishly spread their lines thin, allowing for penetration in some areas and flanking. Fortunately for the Macedonians, they broke through on their right, and slowly cleaned up while the pikes held in the center. GG to my opponent; it was fairly close until the end.

Division E
Aetius39 - Frankish 751-887 AD with Saxon, Continental 600-804 AD allies defeats snooky51 - Ghaznavid 962-1187 AD 46-10
Largest elephant army I ever saw, supported by cavalry and a few good infantry units, tried to break the Frankish shieldwall, but the elephants didn't have the support they needed, and the Frankish cavalry supported the infantry in slowly taking out the Ghaznavid forces one by one. Superiority in numbers helped in the Franks winning. GG Snooky and good try and something different.^^
