Hello, I recently bought panzer corps Wehrmacht from Amazon, as I was an avid panzer general/allied general pc game player years ago and I found on an Amazon game search this newer version of the classic game engine. I like these turn based WWII strategy games based on the hex paradigm and thought that they had become extinct. In the booklet for the panzer corps Wehrmacht game I saw advertised a game "the longest day" which seems interesting, I was wondering whether this was a turn based game like the one I am used to or is it completely different. Also, I was wondering whether there were any other similar games available now like the panzer corps Wehrmacht ?.

One final question: is there any way in panzer corps Wehrmacht that you can modify the game so you can call on extra tanks or infantry units for example or is changing the difficulty setting the only way you can change the game parameters ?.

There are cheat codes that allow you to add extra units.

You can only add or remove units for your side, not for the enemy... for the enemy you can try different difficulties, e.g. Manstein, etc.
