- the 2 hangars are too hard to destroy or I missed something to destroy them: I did not manage to destroy the second . I only did 1 damage each time! so 10 attacks for a hangar ??
The hangars are weaker in the next update
- I destroyed all the planes parked defenseless on the airfields except one and I therefore have no air opposition (just 2 planes in all) . Good , but I think that the zeros should have a shorter fuel limit and therefore not be able to go on all the airfields then come back to the center : player should have to choose: either he will go to destroy planes to the north or south, or he will go to center help bombers . For me, I was able to do both! i was surprised , i could have clean all airfield with just one zero !
Strength of parked planes is upgraded from 6 to 10 in the next update
- the spies are a good idea but i was thinking they couldn't die so i moved them to get more extra information and i lost 2 of them !
Everyone can die. As long as you get 1 hex free between enemy units the enemy can not see the spies
- I used the 5 japanese submarines by destroying one net. Very cool to play but no real opposition when i entered in the harbor. Why not some closer DD ? I saw 3 or 4 DD in the east but they didn't move. (and i destroyed the patrol boat with a plane)
The number of ships in the harbor will increase in future updates
- At the end of the scenario, when i brought back all my planes "behind the line " , i also brought back all my ships but i discovered it was useless. Only planes have to come back. in fact, it is useless to approcah the ships near the island . why not just oblige the player to go back the line also with all ships to win the mission ?
It is a problem to let the fleet retreat behind the line because your mini-submarines can not retreat in time behind the line.
and one last question: are the air units core units for the next mission ? if yes, i got some damaged planes and it could be interesting to be play more careful . I wasn't cautious with dmg taken ...
Yes in Campaign mode the Japanese will have core units but there will be scenarios in the campaign before Pearl Harbor. They have to be made but first we have to expand the Japanese and Chinese armies

INSTALLATION:
There are two ways to play the PAK-Mod.
A.) with the tool "JoneSoft Generic MOD Enabler - JSGME"

2.) extract the PAK-Mod and copy the contents of the folder "Panzer Corps" into the folder "Panzer Corps PAK-Mod": You have to allow some files to be overwritten. Please always use the latest full version plus all subsequent updates.
Optional:
Create a shortcut to the "panzercorps.exe" file from the "Panzer Corps PAK-Mod" folder on your desktop and rename it to "PAK".

I just found out that I was not using dive bombers well.
I was not using the switch.
This is probably why I found the hangars difficult to break!

For the pear Harbor scenario , i forgot some details in my review :
-In north of the map , my Zero plane encountered a B17 in the middle of the game. Is it normal ? where does it come from? because i destroyed all B17 in the first turns
- I destroyed some destroyers or patrol boats and no prestige awarded. Not even 20 or 30 for one destroyer ?
Some suggestions for more fun :
- I haven't seen fuel depot to destroy. Wasn't it historically an objective for the raid ? Maybe add it in minor objectives? (historically a third wave was planned for it )
- for major victory , why not add : "destroy all the airfield (hangars) "
- for more replayability, it could be fun to have the choice of 1 or 2 units. For example, the player could pourchase one or two air core units to add in deployment phase ( to help achieving major objectives)

When the US saw things on the radar they were thinking it were this B-17's and they did not sound the alarm. There is a message in the scenario about that. This unit starts in the high left of the map and flies to Pearl Harbor. They were surprised by Japanese aircraft who opend fire on them. So the B-17 unit is historical.

Destroyed destroyers must give you prestige points, patrol boats not. There is a message in the scenario about that.

Yes it was planned for the third wave but that didn't came. The Japanese command was unsure about the US Carrier positions so they did not make a third attack. Fuel depots were not destroyed.

We can look at that but in v0.47 there is 1 more main target ship and many more ships, stronger US air units so lets see that balance first.

I advice to play the Big maps in the German 1939-1945 campaign. Small maps are in the Option folder and have to be installed manuel. We are behind with the small maps you better play the big maps.
