SCW - Merida Scenario ) prestige per turn?
I'm starting into the SCW DLC and hit the Merida scenario. I'm getting 0.0 prestige per turn regardless of what I've captured AND having a "Famous" hero that should be getting me at least 20 prestige per turn. I'm bleeding prestige even when not using elite reinforcements. Is this a bug or a really odd scenario design?

What difficulty modes are you playing on, what character traits?
Prestige is extremely generous in the DLC, but it's not infinite.

Sorry, I'm missing something. How is 0.0 generous and why if I have a hero that generates 20 per turn why am I not getting that?
Playing on Middle Difficulty (General?). Character Traits are: Panzer General and AA Veteran Offset by Trench Slog
Example: Turn 17 Start 385 Prestige. I spend 0 prestige. Turn 18: 375 prestige. ?????

In the DLC prestige per turn is reserved for defensive battles such as Battle of the Ebro.
Without knowing more about your CORE composition, the only thing I can offer is to either tone down the difficulty and recoup that prestige back that you lose from setting it to General, or you might need to change tactics. I imagine trench slog is cause a lot of damage to your units and draining more prestige, and also is not conducive to making enemies surrender easier, because they stubbornly cling to their entrenchment ratings.

Note that the Nationalists reinforce using your prestige, so losing prestige during AI turns is not uncommon.
Mildly pretentious Swede. Goes by Path on most platforms, including Steam.

Well that explains it them. Yes I may have to start over and not take trenchslog. That also tends to make a “famous” hero pretty worthless.
Re: SCW - Merida Scenario ) prestige per turn?
Yes it is, but they also feed you prestige from all hex captures as well as when they force an enemy unit to surrender. Sharing with your ally is a two way street.
Re: SCW - Merida Scenario ) prestige per turn?
It’s two way but the prestige flows pretty much all one way to my Allies. The idiots burned through about 1200 of my prestige, totally exhausting it, while retuning maybe 200. You should replace the music for the allies with a huge sucking sound. You know it’s bad when you start rooting for the other side to kill your allies so they don’t try to reinforce.

mhh is this true that you become prestige from nationalist armys for surrender the enemys? i play atm the scw campaign but it dont seems that i get prestige for surrender Forces trough my allies.
the other Drawback is, that the enemy surrender but theres no equipment capture
(nothing to say about the some ai problems
had a good encircelment with my allies and they broke it to attack a unit at the other end of the encircelment)

if u have trouble with the Ally draining ur prestige, buy some expensive equip and bench it in reserve. u can sell it mid scenario and repair ur losses if needed. in some scenarios like toledo u need to leave some prestige to prevent ur allies from dying and loosing an objective.
