DX11 feature level 10.0
Problem locating a good source to download and install... "DX11 feature level 10.0":
Almost every site I went to had some kind of a 'Gimmik' to sell me this or that or whatever else other side deal in order to have then the 'Privilege ' of downloading their precious file of DX11.
So... i'm looking for a good clean source to access to download and install... the..."DX11 feature level 10.0".
I did find some information in my travels...
***Windows 10 should have already come with DX11 support, usually these errors stem from a bad driver.
Hit Windows key + R then enter: dxdiag
***You should be in the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (after a short prompt asking if you want to be checked for signed drivers). Go into the Display tab, and on the right under the Drivers section, look for Feature Levels, if 11_0 is missing, you'll need to download and reinstall your graphics driver.
My... "feature levels" or available 'DirectX' -versions are...
10_1,10_0,9_3,9_2,9_1 That's all she wrote!.
I have checked my 'Graphics-Driver'... the ' Windows-Update Service' has determined that i have the best driver available installed.
***You see the error DX11 feature level 10.0 is requires to run the engine when your computer doesn’t have the required Direct3D hardware feature level. This means that your game is unable to use Direct3D feature level 10.0. {Ret: This is where I am at!!!}
And a "Diagnotic-Utility" from 'Microsoft'... gave me this information...
***DirectX Setup has determined that a Newer or Equivalent version of DirectX has been installed already. No installation of DX11 feature level 10.0 is necessary.
So!!!... what can I do???... this Microsoft feed-back insinuates... that I should be "Good-To-Go!"... however I am 'NOT!'.
I have 'Fixed'/'Re-activated'.. my 3TB Seagate Hard-Drive...its come back-to-life...and also now appears on my 'Desktop'... and in the mean-time... I have also 'Re-Downloaded and installed the Panzer Corps 2' Game.
However!... I am still 'Unable-To-Run' it [Panzer Corps 2]... with this "DirectX" issue unresolved!. I am 'Up-the-Creek' as the saying goes... so now I would greatly appreciate and use some useful help!l

I wouldn't say it quite that way myself!. The "Problem" was/is that my 3TB-Hard Drive Crashed/Died... because of using it for 'Back-Up' purposes... as well as downloading all of my 'Games' onto it... I completely filled/Maxed-Out that 'External-USB' Hard-Drive.Patrick Ward wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 9:27 pmSo is this a very recent problem with a specific update?Retributarr wrote: ↑Tue Jul 14, 2020 8:29 pm Problem locating a good source to download and install... So... I got my USB-External Hard-Drive back up and running [With very great difficulty]… I didn't change anything on the Computer with 'Updates' or otherwise. Diagnostic-Tools from Microsoft... indicate to me that I am missing the... DX11 feature level 10.0 … .
My... "feature levels" or available 'DirectX' -versions are...
10_1,10_0,9_3,9_2,9_1
That's why I am 'Screaming' for help to get 'DX11'. This now!... is the 'Heart of the Problem'... that I am dealing with... to now be able to 'Download and Install... the "DX11 feature level 10.0"… or to come up with some kind of work a round!.

Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
I remember a couple of years ago this being an nvidia driver bug.
I would go with nvidia drivers over microsofts if its an nvidia card.
Are you sure your graphics card supports DX11?
We really need you to run "dxdiag" and "save all information", and upload the dump.
We'd have a better chance of diagnosis then.

Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
The HD3650 doesnt support DX11 as far as I know.
Luckily i've got a old one kicking around similar spec in a box so i can go test it. P9700@2.8ghz, HD3650 , 8GB RAM,1TB SSD. Upgraded the parts myself.
Doesnt work on mine due to lack of DX11 support.

I am sensing premonitions of danger... great very-heavy-danger!. I think that the 'Titanic' is sinking?.fluffybunnyuk wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 3:30 pm The HD3650 doesnt support DX11 as far as I know.

There just might be No-Way to fix my 'Wee-Beastie!'.
Nevertheless... this is what drove me to not give up yet.
I have checked my 'Graphics-Driver'... the ' Windows-Update Service' has determined that i have the best drivers available installed. [Graphics Driver]
This is what caused me to lose Hope!.
IF-You see the error DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine, then your computer doesn’t have the required Direct3D hardware feature level. This means that your game is unable to use Direct3D feature level 10.0. {Ret: This is where I am at!!!}
Thank's Again!... "fluffybunnyuk"... for your voluntary attention in 'Caring to help!'... your effort is appreciated!.
I am hoping against hope.,, that this situation can still be resolved... that it is not yet 'Hopeless!'.

The titanic sank such a very long long long long ... long time ago.
Sadly.
Sadly.
Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
With that video card you won't be able to run the game.
You also only have 4GB of RAM and the game requires 8GB.
I'm sorry but you really need a new machine to be able to run the game.

Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
Thanks "VPaulus"for that information... it's good to be certain of where the situation is.
This Computer... was an unused older Computer that I use as an 'Emergency-Backup', I was just 'Hoping-Against-Hope-... that I could still still use it for playing 'PzC2'... but!... that-is... as they say!... "Is-Not-To-Be!!!'.
Question???... if I may encroach upon your person!... I would still like to use that 'Older-Computer'... for my 'Older-Games'... but!... now that 'Festering-Problem' of the... "DX11 feature level 10.0" is 'Required' to play the GAME... keeps endlessly-resurfacing on my Old-Computer-Desktop... so now!!!... The Question:
How can I get 'Rid-of-it'... so that it doesn't get in the way of my being able to use my 'Older-Games?'.
Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
In what exact circumstances does this happens? After loading Windows? When you attempt top play another game?

Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
Thank-You!...again "VPaulus" for the 'Reply'!.
Yes!... this 'Irritating' message only 'Pops-Up' when I start a 'Game'... 'Any-Game!'. I have 'No-Idea' as to how to put an end to it. If you or someone has a solution... I sure would appreciate the help!.
Thank-You for "Not Saying"... "I'm from the Government!... and I'm here to help!".
Re: DX11 feature level 10.0
I don't have an idea. It should only be saying when running games that needs DX11.
Reinstall your video card drivers, is my best advice.
