Changing traits in campaign / save editing?

I wanted a special game so I started one restricting myself to not using any tanks at all, let's call it an infantry division or panzergrenadir division (SPG and SPAT are fine).

Only problem is: I picked both "Chaotic Fire" and "Inefficient Supply" - the combination of both is now ruining my game.
I am at Moscow 1941 and would like to continue this otherwise very interesting and different game.

Is there a way to change traits when you are already in a campaign?

Can this be edited in the save game (if so, how?)?

No, one can not change traits mid campaign.
In the AO DLCs you can change between campaigns though.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.
