No, it's not over!
PC does not currently have a replacement.
PC 2 does not appear to be considered an improvement to PC gold. Many Wargammers who have tried the experience return to the original, especially thanks to all the talented modders.
Long live them and PC alone.
Best regards
Yves

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.061)
Thank you very much for these Soviet scenarios.
It might be interesting to also have the opportunity to play these Soviet scenarios individually outside the campaign?

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.061)
In my testplay, yes, you can play these new scenarios first and then you can quit...
... and/or you can import your existing troops from last part - > winteroffensive as core troops for the big SC.
Let's try, if it works with Nicos help:

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.061)
@asuser
In the future the savecore of campaign '37-'41 can be imported into campaign '42. Its development will start soon after i wrap up 37-41 (one untested scenario to test and tweak).
This is not connected to the vanilla official Soviet Campaign.
@terminator
All scenarios will be possible to play individually although scenarios were not developped with individual gameplay in mind; comparable to vanilla German campaign and Grand Campaign.
Some can already be played, those against Japanese, Polish, and few against the Finns with the latest version of the campaign.

Thanks for the support.

Thanks for explanation - great news!

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
The 37-41 campaign has been updated and is now final.
Get v0.07 here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/48gmti00 ... 7.rar/file
The link is also availabel in the first post of this thread.
Changes:
Winter offensive 41 scenario tested and tweaked
All scenarions can be played individually (standalone) although scenarios are not designed with single scenario play in mind
Equipment file from my equipment file update project added in the data folder, though not required to be able to play; this equipment file will allow to purchase certain Soviet units sooner and includes additional Soviet units based on the vanilla icons. If you don't want it, just delete the equipment.pzeqp file from the Soviet Campaign data folder.
At the end of this campaign, your army core is saved. A Soviet campaign '42 will be created during whenever time i can spare. I will keep you updated.

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
I began working on the 42 campaign.
The first release only contains one untested scenario and is merely to checkout the saved army import mechanism in the second campaign. Core import might not work with if the equipment file from the first part differs from the second part.

v0.01 is available to check savecore import and contains the first scenario Demyansk42 (untested)

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
Hello Nico,
the follow on mission comes very fast!
The new map of Demyansk with the first dramatic battle in 1942 looks beautiful … but I think, I made something wrong.
In general I like to work with the JSGME and played first the GC37-41 campaign. I saved the last scenario “winter offensive” with my core troops and the same equipment.
Now I loaded the new GC42 with JSGME over there and start the new scenario. There is no question for the option to import my core troops from “winter offensive” and the hole campaign GC37-41 disappeared from the file section “more campaigns”?
Maybe, is there a false “phone number” in the new Guid file or a little mistake in the campaign file?

With the vanilla or a vanilla based e-file there is no problem.asuser wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 6:51 am Hello Nico,

GME does cause problems with dynamic linked campaigns.
Perhaps creating a separate PzC folder which includes your custem e-file and units package might solve the problem.
I always hoped for a workshop support which was kinda promised by Slitherine but never materialised.

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
Mmmhh, thinking about it...
As an 2nd option we could copy the GC42 scenarios into the GC37-41 campaign... with attention to set up the campaign file with the right connections.
I will try first to copy the e-file from GC 42 into the GC37-41 and play it again to the last save point.
Hopefully the game is something lazy with that manipulation...

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
Hello Nico,
now it works!
I forgot the "classical way" to play big campaigns:
Copy the files GC37-41 and GC42 into the directory:
...\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Mods and play!
With that I see also both campaigns in the file section "more campaigns".
After the last mission from GC37-41 I start the new GC42 and then comes:
Now I can play GC42 with the core troops...
Btw.
I made a small campaign path graphic for 37-41 and for 42.
Load the small (unpacked) Library file into your campaign file 37-41 (2nd for campaign file 42) and if you start your campaign
and press "ESC" , then press "Library" you see underneath "Soviet Corps" a new
theme "GC Sov.Corp 37-45". Could updated with every new campaign pack.
Path 37-41 Path 42

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
A small update of Soviet Campaign '42.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/8x3umwiy ... 1.rar/file
Changes for v0.011:
Scenario Demyansk42 tested and tweaked. Most importantly there is now a proper savegame name and the number of turns has been raised; also a few minor Soviet auxiliary unit changes.

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
Hello comrades, I write from Brazil and I would like to thank you for the wonderful mod.
I have a little doubt, at the beginning of the game a message appears stating that I will only be able to buy units later on, but this is free to purchase 4 units, is this normal?
another doubt is that i start with troops of 39 in the first scenario i would like to know if this is also normal?

Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
It was designed to work with the vanilla equipment file in which most units are only available from 1939. The modded equipment file included in this campaign allows to purchase units before this date.mc261209 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 19, 2020 4:08 pm Hello comrades, I write from Brazil and I would like to thank you for the wonderful mod.

39 troops in the first scenario are placed on purpose to remain compatible with the vanilla equipment file. I could have placed the 36 troops but that would break the campaign for players who wish only to use the vanilla equipment file.
Re: Soviet Grand Campaign (DLC 37-41 v0.07)
Yes, that is how you access this campaign.
One T-28, one BT-5, two T-26S, some infantry, one artillery and one propelled AT gun and a Tupolev SB.

Hello comrades, I appreciate the answers.
I took the equipment file that comes with the mod and it became "normal", but I was in doubt if this will interfere with the campaign?
