[Poll] Which nations have you played
Dear players
That's not all nations with custom content, by far, but is aimed either toward major nations or nations with custom missions. You can also indicate in a message you played another nation with custom content (Judea to name one I forgot!)

Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
In addition to nations listed (and voted) on the poll, I played Massalia in my first game, Judea in my second game, and I'm planning on playing Maurya next game.
Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
Have played Antigonids, Rhodes, Pontus, Epirus, Syracuse, and Aquitane, mostly in multiplayer. Plus am playing Lydia in a current DLC mp match.
Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
I have played Macedonia, Carthage, Antigonos and the Samnites in the GC. Great game!!!
BTW I can't seem to access the poll.

Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
Am I the only one who plays Kolchis?
One of the most interesting nations in the game IMO, hidden from the larger nations at start, but still a true fight for survival early on, cool nation-spesific missions, and once you grow large enough you start to draw the attention of the larger powers.

There are three kinds of people, those who can count and those who can't.
Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
just finish first GC as Syracuse
by the way GC end in 334 not in 630
don't understand why there is no option to end the game later.
Look like impossible to win if you play a nation far from Perse

Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
You can win, had to play 10 games or so to end to have my first win, you can do it in a couple of way, most effective is to stop Persia from taking Egypt and western Lydia. Second best is to do constant wars with them to drain their legacy and take their object cities, if you take enough they go into old empire and are a lot easier to handle. Remember you have a enforced peace with them after each war so the last peace offer should be send at latest in turn 215.

also you must be close from Persia to win war. that means all west country as Syracuse could do nothing

Syracus, Rome and Carthage are close enough, though you need to get the ionian island or as Rome attack the Persians that neighbour your in the Balcans.

Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
but that doesn't realy made sens to take care of Persia in -300 when you are Syracuse or Rome. As Rome or any europeen nation before XX centuty never take care of China ...
it's realy a bad game design for me

Re: [Poll] Which nations have you played
You don't need to conquer them, you "just" need to take some provinces and legacy.
I haven't been able to out legacy them, but that might be a failure on my part, but I'd like to see an AAR or youtube of how to do it!

5 at least are in coastal provinces, 5 more are close inland.billgber wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 10:40 ambut all objective province are in the east, even in -332

the other part is when doing peace, don't take too much land, take legacy.

You can use a diplomatic transaction to get the objective regions. This works no matter where your faction is on the map. Gift them money until they have more than a 25 rating for your faction and then do transactions for all of the objective regions. You bought the game so you can do whatever works in single player.

Back on topic, in addition to the polled factions, I've also played Rhodus, Sarmatia and Burgundi.
