Nero156, if you want, make all the modifications you think appropriate about the latest (download it again 2.7), I think what you are saying is fine. You pass it to me and I put it on.

I think the prestige is correct, at the end of the campaign there will be a big difference in favor of the Soviets.

OK perfect. The only thing I have had to do is correct Soviet control hexagons for mines and change the name of version 2.8 inside. You will have to download it again, it is already placed in the forum.

Heh sorry for the delay in you squishing me in version 2.5 (wait there's a 2.8 now, I haven't even tried 2.7...). I'll try and get around to it soon. My excuse is a neighbour wanted my empty parking spot and when I said sure because I don't have a car she paid me in vodka. Glug glug :)

2.8 compared to which version? Russia is substantially stronger in the west I notice, but I like a challenge! On the other hand Germany now has tons of naval command points, which I look forwards to experiementing with. I haven't played 2.8 as Russia yet so I'm not sure how things are regarding command points on their end. It'll probably be 2.9 by the time we finish our game, you're definitely wrecking havok but I've got my eyes on Moscow now.

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to download earlier versions of The Russian Campaign? I wouldn't mind having a go at Dzin but he's set up for 2.3. Still remember him destroying me over and over again in Dubno Fields...

I had the "no upgrades and no new unit purchase" glitch happen for a second time. However I decided to tough it out and it thankfully fixed itself next turn. Also I've been wondering about Bulgaria. Germany gets a bunch of requisition points for them, but no command points and I can't find any actual Bulgarian units. Maybe I just haven't noticed them however.

Nero156 is making the latest modifications (The Russian Campaign), as soon as it is done I update it in the forum.

New great campaign "The West Campaign 1940" - Fall Gelb & Fall Rot you can already download it. I have tested it but I need to test it more. :D NOTE: I would not give up very quickly with the French

Hmm that one sounds worth checking out. Although I'm a little overwhelmed at the moment, should probably try to wrap up at least a couple of my existing games first.

I think there might be an issue with version 3.0 mysteriously identifying itself as 2.7. I'm looking at the "All Games" section of multiplayer right now and there's a map called The Russian Campaign 2.7 available to play, even though I don't have that in my scenarios folder. Likewise when I tried to host a multiplayer game with 3.0, that's not available but 2.7 is. Curious.

Double check if there is no folder inside next folder.
I copy always into two places /documents/mygames... and folder with game installed.

First thing I did and it's not that. As near as I can tell everything is fine, except 3.0 is calling itself 2.7. Oh well.

Hee hee, the map is fine it's just that I'm a monster ;) The thing about Nashorns is they're very good value for money. Since they're always hiding behind something, the fact they've got low defence doesn't matter. So why waste cash on something tougher? I've played a lot and lost a lot but every time I try and learn something. For the record I've never been able to beat Dzin though. My waterloo... Anyway play the map against me as Germany and we'll see how things unfold. Free protip for Russia. Since they can't match long range artillery, when I play as them I invest heavily in mobile artillery. Works out pretty well I find.
