How to get editor to work

Post by brian1h »

Hello,

So I can open the editor, change some units (first effort is to set and limit allied armor formation to strength 5 in the 39 to 41 scenarios), i have manage to save a new version of Poland but it does not appear it does not appear in the custom list. I know I don't know much but the instructions seem so most inadequate. So if anyone can provide some help - great.

Things I would like to achieve.
1) the mentioned reducing allied armor for the early years of the war to to better represent their armor doctrine.
2) reduce the AA power of all ground units by probably 50% so that employing ground units to hunt air units is much less effective.
3) if possible give the recon designation to all air units so that you can have some control over the path taken to get to target and/or fall back after making air strike.

Thanks.

Go to the Scenario Design sub forum
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=147
There are people to help, and some guides as well
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

Are you are using the folder on your c drive My Games/Panzer Corps/Scenario (this is where your own stand alone scenarios go) and for your linked scenarios My Games/Panzer Corps/Mods (this folder contains your campaign folders and files) - I recall that you need to create the Mods folder. Further questions do put them on the Scenario Design sub-forum. For my modding efforts, persistance, patience and experimentation have been needed in spades.

This is the thread that helped me over one of my big impasses viewtopic.php?t=29080
