Lombard cavalry charged the line of archers/massed archers but lucky for them most were in rough ground so a lot of damage negated. With the cavalry slowed down on the right side, our center and left with the legions and cataphracts broke through. Good game and good try to my opponent in attempting to break the lines; he came close.^^

After some initial skirmishing, a day where the Ostrogoth cavalry had the better of their opponents. Bitter infantry battle on the left, but in the centre and the right the Ostrogoth cavalry managed to get the upper hand.

Weekly round-up
A quiet start in Division A where 5 players have registered their first wins but no-one has gone to the front yet. A difficult start for Cunningcairn (Egyptian) though with 3 defeats already. IMC (Lydian) has taken an early lead in Division B with 2 wins from 3 starts while edb1815 (Egyptian) has started with 2 close wins. devoncop (Cimmerian) has nearly finished his matches already and probably needs 1 more win to stay clear of the eventual relegation battle. In division C baldrick52 (Kyrenean Greek) has started at a furious pace with 5 wins and a draw from his 6 matches. Only wmpryor (Lydian) has managed to slow him down so far although SpeedyCM (Median) may have a strong say in the outcome of this division if he reaches his usual level of form.
