Multiplayer & mod

Is it possible to enjoy multiplayer using a mod?
I noticed that the multiplayer option is not visible in the main screen.

Wow, does the UI look really this tiny with the new "HD UI" setting being active? And people wanted this? :roll:

I had to reduce the image 80% to make it fit on the forum. It looks quite nice on the 4k mon (I had to crop the original a bit).
BTW, the mod txt change worked, sort of. I get the multiplayer selection, tried hot-seat, but the game won't open the selection menu.
