Playing battle again?

Playing battle again?

Post by kronenblatt »

Is there a way, and then how, to play exactly the same custom battle again, with the same army lists and the same map?

Sometimes in the case of a loss (like now...) I'd like to play again in order to learn from my mistakes and try new tactics and ideas in order to see whether that would improve my battle result.

If you are talking about SP, the only way I know is to save the game in the first turn, before you start moving any units.

Yep, SP. Thanks, Paul59: I'll keep that save in mind for later on. (btw: I lost again... But will give it a third try: German Foot Tribes vs Sarmatians and Roxolani allies at Governor difficulty...)

Would be neat if the initial conditions could be exported as an alphanumeric or something. People could share match-ups/terrain they find particularly interesting.
