No tooltip for crossed-over Charge icon

I've noticed on some occasions that when I look at attempting a Charge and it is not permitted (i.e., the crossed-over Charge symbol is shown when I hover over the enemy unit), the crossed-over Charge symbol is not accompanied by any tool-tip (explaining why I can't charge) that is normally the case. Instead there's no text at all, only the crossed-over Charge symbol.

I'm sorry I haven't made a screenshot (but will do next time), but the situation is (as I recall it) that my unit could move next to the enemy unit but did not have the necessary remaining AP left to charge it (plus last time it was a diagonal charge on an enemy unit located in rough terrain, my unit being heavy infantry). Next time the charge could take place as usual, with normal icon, etc.

Again: will post screenshot next time I come across it, along with a more exact explanation on the situation.

So this is one of these situations (saw one more later in the same battle, but didn't screenshot it, since it was the same situation outlined below). Hopefully this is of help to you.

My Roman Legionaries attempt to charge at the Spanish Scutarii, and then the tooltip at first says Not Close Enough:

The Roman Legionaries nevertheless makes the move towards the Spanish Scutarii, and then there is no tooltip at all:

There is normally no tooltip for the Charge icon until you have clicked it the first time.

This is because calculating the tooltip on the fly at the stage before the icon is clicked once affected performance too much.

Anyway I will look into it and see if the issue is fixable, but it may not be without affecting performance.

OK, thanks: no performance hit would be worth the tooltip though.

But didn't quite understand "clicked it the first time". For the unit and for that turn? Because in neither of the cases, had I clicked the Charge icon for that unit that turn. And in the first screenshot it still showed the tooltip, whereas in the second it didn't.
