How to choose composition/placement of both armies and play only one

Post by CONSTANTINIX »

Hello

I would like to play a battle where I have choosen the composition and the initial placement of both armies but I command only one and the other is managed by the AI.
Is it possible ?

I have tried this way :
Autoseat mode on
Custom batttle==> create
I choose the composition and the placement of the first army then end the turn .
I choose the composition and the placement of the second army . I set Autoseat mode off and end the turn.
I resume the control of the first army , I verify that I'm in hotseat mode off , end the second turn for the first army but I have still the control of both armies whereas I expect the AI to resume control of the second army .

How can I achieve the expected result ? Is it possible ?

Thanks for your support

It isn't. If Hot Seat mode is on at the start of a battle, it stays on throughout the battle.

Thanks Richard

Is there any probabilities it could be put in the roadmap of the product in a near future ?

Yes, picking the AI's army and placement for it would be a great addition, I believe.

I can add it to the wish list, but don't your breath, it isn't that simple a thing to do, as the Hosteat mod and AI modes are very separate.
