Persia DLC - Weird legacy score

Post by dodgy »

I started a game as a Lydia and thought I would check what was happening on the legacy report. The results are not what I expected, to say the least (see screen shot below and note we are only on turn 6). Either something is wrong or legacy has changed a lot.

PS I think the enhancements to the game with impediments, perks & regional decisions are a great addition, adding extra flavour and interesting decisions and pathways, as well as giving a solution to some gotchas. I suppose they might take a while to get perfectly balanced but kudos to the developers for continuing to improve the game.

Working as designed

You have an issue with some nations starting with a huge legacy headup? Then kill them, they will lose 1% of their legacy per turn. But before, humiliate them to siphon a bit of their heritage.

Okay, sorry about that. I get it now.

That is quite different to the original game. Was it explained somewhere?

No, not really, that's not a new concept but more of a twist of the setup. Like having say Skythia in the base game split in 3 unlinked parts. This is not a concept, but a twist on the setup to make for a different start.

Rest assured, you can do it, testers managed to take the lead even against Egypt.
