In 1.1.0, when you choose the year for random map, the date was set to 1st of January that year. M26 Pershing appears after January 1st 1945, so it is missing in the list. However, I've already changed the code, so that the date is 1st of July (mid year) instead of January. So, in patch 4 you will have Pershing (and Super Pershing) in the list.

But wait, there is more. In patch 4 several units which were "no purchase" before will be purchasable, in particular IS-3, Tortoise, T34 and T28. I don't remember what availability dates they have, but at least if you play with "---" as year, you will be able to use these super tanks to fight german Maus and E-75.

UPD: I got curious and actually checked the dates, and judging by them, all four units will be available for purchase if you play in 1945, because most of them appear in April-May 1945.

Thanks, one of the things I like about the Random generator is that it gives us (and the AI) units specific to whatever year we choose, 1939 to 1945..:)

For the record here are all the tanks in the Random generator purchase screens if we don't set any specific year (v1.1.0)
(Hey devs, I suggest you might include a Churchill III (6-pdr gun) in a future update, for the years 1942-43)

In 1939 the Germans do not have access to fighters.
I am playing a FFA against an AI and a human player and I am getting my ass kicked because I cannot shot down their bombers.
Maybe the 1939 period could be checked out as well?

(Retributarr:) Without even doing any serious confirmation checking..., I will venture-forth to say that the 'Germans' indeed had plenty of 'Fighters'... as I know that Hitler was seriously re-building the military to start his master plan.

I think the Bf-109 was introduced in 1937 or 1938 so definitely it should be added to the 1939 German roster.

Here are some of the early war tanks available in PC2 (v1.1.0)

In a future update the Germans will definitely need some Pz III's (37mm gun) and Pz IV's (short 75mm gun) in 1939 and 1940.
And like guys have said, the Germans in the 1939 game have got no fighters or tac bombers (so I'd suggest adding an early Me109 and Me110 and Stuka).

This is because the date is set to January 1st. As I said, it is July 1st now, and this problem no longer exists. With new date, we still had problems with GB artillery (just one option available), France (no tactical bombers) and Hungary (no strategic bombers). But all these problems have been addressed in the equipment file too. Things are improving, slowly but surely. :)

Re this thread, to complete the set of what tanks are available in PC2 1.1.0, here are the Italians.
If I've missed out any other nations let me know, for example I once thought I saw a Romanian R-2 tank in a battle somewhere but I can't find it again, or did I imagine it?

Clearly your imagination.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.

Yeah must have been, because there are no Romanian tanks in the Editor or the Rand generator as far as I can tell.
Perhaps they're only to be found in a stock scenario somewhere.

In Barbarossa South you have a Romanian R2 tank as aux unit.
