GAME JUMPS FROM CAMPAIGN TO CAMPAIGN: NO SAVES!

Hi Folks,

I have over 600 hours/STEAM on this game but it is often maddening. It used to happen only with an "update," even IF I had the STEAM "update" turned off. I will be deep in the midst of making a dent in a campaign and I boot up to play and find NO LOG/memory of the game I'd just put in hours on...and I'd be in the middle of another campaign altogether.

Like today, I just finished the first 4-5 scenarios of the KRIEGSMARINE and was settling in for another voyage and BOOM! Game history gone, nothing in log of saved games and I'm suddenly back in the U.S. Marines unfinished campaign which is so grindingly long and tedious. Nothing for my efforts of getting through some 40 turn scenarios with the German navy!

This is bloody maddening and the MAIN reason I sought solace in buying Panzer Corps 2. And then IT stops playing after my 1st tutorial and consistently gives me UNREAL ENGINE 4 CRASH REPORTS forms to submit...and I hear nothing back.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem, the main one about the dumping of progress/saves of LARGE portions of game play?

Wondering if anyone wants to carpool to the Insane Asylum with me. I'll rent a van if there are enough interest parties.

Thought I'd add the ol' DX DIAG file as I JUST submitted one 10 minutes ago for PC2. lol.

I guess my PC IS about 4 years old but it's up to date in all respects and I should think games like OOB and PC2 wouldn't require a brand-new PC to power them. If that's the case, just let me know and I'll work on it.

P.S. Played Panzer Corp I on iPAD and the hour dial turns over at 1,000,000! LOL! I've put SO MANY YEARS on that game!

as with and dual GPU system, once a update has been applied, make sure the game knows which GPU is being used, one will or should work, the other one eg onboard will crash the game
