Onslaught Maps CTD every time

Hello,

I played, and loved, the Invasion product. Unfortunately, Onslaught is impossible for me to play. I can get past the first map choice (Land of South/West) but the "Find a Guide" map crashes to desktop while attempting to load. The alternative map choice, "Get an Ancient Map" I managed to load and play once, but barely. The terrain was not displaying correctly (half the map looked like swamp even though its listed as Hills, camp and ruins don't display properly, etc.) and my computer was having a heart attack during the whole map (the HD was spinning non-stop). After that, no map will load. The progress bar stops spinning after a second of trying to load, and then I get a Unity error and CTD.

I have 4GB of VRAM.

I have attached all the requested files. Please help!

I guess my issue is uncommon?

Is there any hope for a fix, or a workaround, anytime in the near future?

Is this forum being monitored at all right now?

I figured that with the current Coronavirus situation, the developers and moderators may not be active, but...The developers do seem to be actively monitoring and responding over on the Steam forums.

It would be much appreciated if someone on the development team or a forum moderator could respond with any information, even if its a "we have no idea what the problem is and don't expect a fix anytime soon".

Hi, sorry, I thought this was monitored by Slitherine.
The issue you have has to do with the graphic card VRAM most likely, which is required to generate the Onslaught map. You can try and minimize the resolution which may allow your PC to create the map. We are working on a patch for this issue to be released later this month.
