Is there a way to identify the division name

Post by matthew2582 »

Is there a way to identify the division name - i.e. the 3rd Panzer division.

Occasionally, the objectives will describe a specific division, for example, the 3rd Panzer division advancing toward Minsk in the Capture Slonim objective in Blitzkrieg and it would be helpful to know which unit is the 3rd Panzer division on the map

Thanks

You can rename units according to your wishes:

Thank you for your reply - I was asking whether you could identify a division's name and its location on the map - as referred to in an objective's briefing - Please see screenshot

IIRC this is the objective reward for capturing Slonim, so those units aren't there from the start. You get a few more units (aux) and a popup info about them when the objective is achieved.

In general formations in briefing are more for historic immersion. In most DLC only a few selected units are specifically named, standard is to display the unit type. In mods it can be different.

Typically if a specific unit is referred to in objectives, it will be linked, and the unit linked will also be named.
Klinger, you're dumber than you look, and THAT boggles the MIND.
