Field of Glory 2 is the best tactical battle game covering the ancient world through to the Dark Ages. Fellow YouTuber, Richard Yorke, and I made a short 9-episode series where we recorded an 'open-hand' game so we could discuss in detail what we were thinking. I've called it a 'Tutorial' because we cover so many of the finer points of the game.

We asked our viewers to vote on who we would play and so the first video is where we discuss the shortlist of factions we put up as options for the vote.

In the series, Richard will play as the Scots circa 950AD and I’ll be playing as the Normans circa 950AD.

This is really one of the best series on Youtube to learn some of the nuances of the game. I'm not a serious enough player to know whether every detail is perfect, but having you and Richard discuss the pros and cons of almost every move and the interaction between the ZOC rules and the tactical decisions is really interesting and useful. I'm sure that if you get anything wrong, it will show up in the comments. Thanks to both of you for doing this.
